Project 3A:Magic Man's Perspective

On 27/7/2009, we are taught about Perspective Drawings.Then, we are given this project.

I use the three sheets to create a story about a magic man.This is why my title is Magic Man's Perspective. The magic man has changed the solid cubes into cuboid boxes and into solid again. Lastly, transparent and translucent cubes are formed and put on top of the sarong.

Seen-Unseen: Privacy

On 24/7/2009 (Friday), we are listening a talk "Seen-Unseen:Privacy" from Dr. Ilias.

This talk is like a recall, refresh and reflect for us. In this talk, we are asked to recall the moment when we received the offer letters from Universiti Sains Malaysia and our hopes.

Firstly, Dr. Ilias asks us to study hard and consisten to make sure that our ambition can be fulfilled. Besides, we should not influence by others. We need to have good management about our money and time.

Furthermore, in my opinion, we must also have good and proper dressings. This is because what we wear will reflect our personalities. We should not wear any improper clothes just because we want to follow others.

I felt that I am the lucky one who can study at School of Housing, Building and Planning, Universiti Sains Malaysia and listen to the talk by Dr. Ilias. Thank you, Dr. Ilias.

Project 2C: The Mask

On 20/7/2009, we are asked to do a mask ourselves.

So, we use tissue papers, news papers, A4 white papers and glue(made from tapioca flour) to make our masks.

Below are some pictures taken through out the process of making mask.

This is my mask which has been done completely.

From this activity, we just not only learn how to do our mask, but we have deepen our friendship by helping one another.

Existence

>What is the meaning of EXISTENCE?
According to the Oxford dictionary, one of the meanings of existence is state or fact of existing.

>Why do we exist?
Everyone or every things exists on this earth has his, her or its uses or functions.
As human, we have our responsibilities to take care of this world. This is why we exist on this earth.
For example, air. Oxygen is very important for every living things. Without it, living things will die. Besides, green plants also need carbon dioxide to carry out photosynthesis.

>What are the rules of existence?
1. We have to live according to the teachings of God.
2. We have to live every day meaningfully.

"My Big Bang!"

This section starts at 2.00pm and is conducted by our seniors.First, they give us some briefing about our Orientation Week which will be held on 9 to 12 July 2009.The shecdule is as below:

Around 5.15pm, we gather at stadium. There are futsal games between junior(us) with our senior.It is very interesting.

10/7/2009(Fri)

The opening ceremony is attended by our dean.In his speech, he shares with us the "4B2P".The "4B2P" are image building, self building, team building, capacity building, problem solving and future planning.All of us are wearing our "Bing Bang !!!"white T-shirt.

At night, we have "Ice Breaking".We create our group name, cheer and sculpture.Afterward, we make our presentation to all our friends.The name of our group is H.B.P. which are stand for honest, brillant and powerful.

11/7/2009(Sat)

In the morning, we have the activity of "Soft Landing".In this activity, we have to make sure that the egg lands without breaking.All of us enjoy this activity very much.After land the egg, the egg of our group has some damage, but does not break.

At night, we have the activity of "Explorace" although it is raining.It consists of 8 stations.The station games are interesting and we enjoy them. At the same time, we can known some of our seniors and places in the school of HBP.

12/7/2009(Sun)

Today is the last day of our orientation programme.Each group has to do a performance tonight according to the tasks given. So, we have practice in this morning.

At 8pm, we come with our own masks. The Grand Dinner is attended by our deputy dean.He make a speech to thank the seniors and some advise to us.We eat and watch the performance there.Our group is the last group which will perform.

Lastly, there has a prize giving ceremony.All the groups which win the activities are given prizes.The awards of "King" and "Queen" are given too.

"What I read today, 06 July 2009, 0900-1200"

1st Studio
This is the first studio that we attend today.Today, the studio is conducted by one of our studiomasters. The studiomaster is Mr. Wan Burhanuddin.

What are you doing? ......READ
He shares with us what are the meanings of the word "read".There are a lot of meanings of the word "read". I have also read the meanings of "read". After that, we read about the meanings of each word likes intention, act, product,empower, provide, guide, rule and so on.The explanations are given by Mr. Wan Burhanuddin.Besides, we are also told to document, communicate, design,construct a page and serve.

Projects!!!
We have to complete ten projects in this semester.Each project carries 10%.So, we have to sign up in ten different groups which are conducted by different studiomasters.Under the guide and help of studiomasters, we successfully to sign up for ten groups.The studiomasters are helpful and friendly.

1st Project
We are given our fist project that is "Project 1A MyHome".We have to submit this project on Friday 10 July 2009 ,08:00.

We are told the meaning of word"plagiarism".Plagiarism means copy others' work as your own one without permission.Therefore, we should not practice plagiarism.
